cracker recipe

This easy cheese cracker recipe will leave the store bought crackers in the dust!

We have one more week until school starts and with school comes the packing of brown bag lunches.  Packing a lunch for a picky eater gets tricky and redundant.  But one food group that always gets eaten is crackers!  This week the Sunday Supper crew is sharing our favorite lunchbox recipes so hopefully you’ll find a lot of inspiration for your lunchbox packing.

My kids love those little fish crackers, but I knew I could make the crackers for way less money and with much better ingredients.   Go to your cupboard and just throw out the box of cheese crackers you have in there. They don’t even come close to the absolute divine deliciousness of these crackers.  And… these are super, super simple!  I cut the crackers out and let my 5 year old have a good old time putting them on the baking sheets.  Although, I accidentally rolled my dough way too thick so they were pretty easy to handle.  I would make sure to roll the dough as thin as you can get it for more of a crispy cracker.  This one recipe got me two sheets full of crackers so if you roll thin, you will get more mileage out of the recipe.
